Our Gold Coast and Brisbane scooter hire fleet consists exclusively of Suzuki Address UK110 110cc scooters. Every scooter was purchased brand new and is regularly maintained, cleaned and kept well presented throughout its time in our rental fleet.

Renting a scooter

Motiond scooter hire is $119 per week, with a $250 security bond payable before your rental begins.

Rental payments are processed automatically every 7 days for the duration of your hire.

Our scooters can be ridden within a 50 km radius of your Motiond rental location in Brisbane or the Gold Coast.

If you need to travel further, please contact us before your trip for approval. Additional fees may apply due to insurance and maintenance requirements.

Yes. Our Suzuki Address UK110 110cc scooters can carry a pillion passenger, provided your motorcycle licence permits you to carry passengers.

Learner riders cannot carry a pillion passenger.

Yes. Same-day scooter collection is often available in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, subject to availability.

If we have a scooter available, you may be able to collect it within hours. Rentals are $119 per week with a minimum hire period of 28 days (4 weeks). Contact us via chat or submit our booking form to check availability.

Our scooters are automatic, fuel-efficient and available for $119 per week.

  • Our Suzuki Address UK110 110cc scooters can reach approximately 90–100 km/h, depending on rider weight, road conditions and other factors. They are well suited to everyday commuting and getting around Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Yes. The Motiond Hire Agreement is provided when you collect your scooter. We go through the agreement with you before signing so you understand the rental terms and conditions.

Our minimum scooter hire period is 28 days (4 weeks).

Rentals are $119 per week, with payments processed every 7 days throughout your hire.

Yes. We accept valid overseas motorcycle licences, subject to licence validity and insurance eligibility.

Your licence must authorise you to ride a 110cc scooter in Queensland. Some overseas licences may not meet our insurer’s eligibility requirements, so please contact us before booking if you hold an overseas licence.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express for scooter hire payments.

Cash payments are not accepted.

No. Motiond specialises in weekly scooter hire in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with a minimum rental period of 28 days (4 weeks).

  • A valid motorcycle licence that allows you to ride a 110cc scooter in Queensland is required to hire from Motiond.

    A car licence alone is not accepted. We also accept eligible overseas motorcycle licences, subject to licence validity and insurance requirements.

The minimum age to hire a scooter from Motiond is 21 years.

Learner motorcycle licence holders must have held their learner licence for at least 6 months before hiring.

Scooters are collected from our rental locations in Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast or Bowen Hills in Brisbane.

We currently do not offer scooter delivery, so collection from one of these locations is required.

Insurance

Comprehensive insurance is included with every Motiond scooter hire.

The standard insurance excess is $1,250. You can reduce this to $500 by adding our Excess Reduction option for $10 per week, selected at the beginning of your hire and paid weekly in advance.

The applicable insurance excess may be payable if the scooter is stolen, seriously damaged or involved in an accident, subject to the terms of your Hire Agreement.

Minor damage such as scratches, broken mirrors or similar repairs may be charged separately or deducted from your security bond.

Full insurance conditions, exclusions and excess requirements are outlined in the Motiond Hire Agreement.

The cost depends on the type and extent of the damage.

Minor damage is generally charged at the actual repair or replacement cost and may be deducted from your $250 security bond.

For damage involving an insurance claim, the applicable insurance excess may apply. Our standard excess is $1,250, or $500 if you have selected the $10 per week Excess Reduction option.

Food delivery

You can use your Motiond scooter for food delivery and courier work with platforms such as Uber Eats and DoorDash, subject to each platform’s rider requirements.

Our scooters are suitable for delivery work throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast within the permitted riding area.

Requirements vary between delivery platforms. Check the current rider requirements directly with your chosen platform before applying.

Motiond scooters can be used for eligible food delivery and courier work with platforms such as Uber Eats and DoorDash.

Motiond can provide the vehicle registration and insurance documents required for eligible scooter rentals.

Yes. Motiond can provide the vehicle registration and insurance documentation required to help eligible renters register with food delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and DoorDash.

Delivery platforms have their own licence, identity and eligibility requirements, which are separate from Motiond’s scooter rental requirements. Check your chosen platform’s current requirements before booking if you intend to use the scooter for delivery work.

No. Delivery bags are not included with your Motiond scooter hire.

If you plan to work for Uber Eats, DoorDash or another delivery platform, you’ll need to supply your own suitable delivery bag.

During a rental

Our Suzuki Address UK110 scooters use 91 RON unleaded petrol.

Please use 91 unleaded only when refuelling your Motiond scooter.

Yes. If you would like to keep your scooter beyond your agreed return date, please contact Motiond at least 24 hours beforehand.

Your hire can usually be extended subject to approval, with rental payments continuing at $119 per week.

If you are involved in an accident while riding a Motiond scooter, make sure everyone is safe first and contact emergency services if required.

Exchange contact and vehicle details with any other parties involved and take photos of the vehicles, damage and accident scene where possible.

Contact Motiond as soon as possible and within 24 hours of the incident so we can assist with the next steps and any insurance requirements.

You can park your scooter anywhere motorcycle or vehicle parking is legally permitted, subject to local parking signs, time limits and restrictions.

Always check the signs and road markings before leaving your scooter. In Queensland, you must not stop or park beside a continuous yellow edge line or in a signed No Stopping area.

Any parking fines, towing fees or other costs resulting from illegal parking are the responsibility of the rider.

If you get a flat tyre, stop riding the scooter and contact Motiond as soon as possible. We’ll advise you on the best way to have the tyre inspected, repaired or replaced.

Whether a tyre can be repaired depends on the type and location of the puncture or damage.

Costs associated with punctures or tyre damage during the hire are the responsibility of the renter, as outlined in the Motiond Hire Agreement.

If your scooter develops a mechanical problem, stop somewhere safe and contact Motiond as soon as possible.

We’ll assess the issue and advise you on the next steps. If the scooter has suffered a mechanical fault through no fault of your own, we’ll arrange assistance and, where necessary, a replacement scooter subject to availability.

Your Suzuki Address UK110 can be ridden on Queensland public roads, including motorways and toll roads where motorcycles are permitted, provided you remain within the permitted 50 km radius of your Motiond rental location.

All road rules, signs and restrictions must be followed.

Tolls are the rider’s responsibility. If a toll is charged to Motiond rather than paid by you directly, a $5 administration fee applies for each toll occurrence.

Please contact us before travelling outside the 50 km rental area.

If your Motiond scooter is stolen, report the theft to Queensland Police immediately and contact Motiond as soon as possible.

You’ll need to provide us with the police report or reference number and any relevant information about the theft.

The applicable insurance excess may be payable for a stolen scooter. The standard excess is $1,250, or $500 if you selected our $10 per week Excess Reduction option.

Any insurance, recovery or damage costs will be handled in accordance with the terms of your Motiond Hire Agreement.

After the rental

When returning your Motiond scooter, please ensure it is clean and the fuel tank has been refilled with 91 unleaded petrol.

The scooter should be returned on time and in accordance with the conditions of your Hire Agreement. Additional cleaning, fuel, damage or other applicable charges may apply if the return conditions are not met.

Your $250 security bond is generally refunded within 5–7 business days after the scooter is returned and inspected, provided all Hire Agreement conditions have been met and there are no outstanding charges.

Any applicable damage, cleaning, fuel, toll, fine or other charges may be deducted from the bond before the remaining balance is refunded.
